All stained glass items including these Photo Mojo's are made by myself, Rhonda Rosa. Being a RI resident I try to take as may regional photographs as possible! All images of Photo Mojos have been taken in a window to show their illumination. Thanks for stopping by!
How Photo Mojo began... I wanted to combine photography or hand drawn artwork into stained glass items that can be illuminated when hung in a window. It all started in the last week of August of 2006 with me first purchasing several photo's from a photographer at full price (with permission to use them in my product to resell) and sold my first 3 while selling my stained glass items at the 2006 Burrillville, RI Arts Festival. It took some trial and error until I perfected the process to make the first Photo Mojo but I experimented until I got it right. The first two had to be thrown away but I finally managed to make 2 before the festival and one more the first night of the festival to sell the next day. They complimented my stained glass wares beautifully and added variety! After their success, I started to take my own amateur photos (which I am quite proud of!) and also bought unlimited use of many photos from my good friend, Tara Sprankle, who is a zoo keeper. I then went on to incorporate my own artwork which gave me a reason to start drawing by hand again!
Photo Mojo's illuminate in the window or can compliment your decor by being hung on the wall! They are very versatile!
