Meet The Artist. Updated 12.11.07

I have been working with stained glass for only a few years and I absolutely love working with glass. Working with mixed media has always been my forte ever since I could draw. I began my love for creating artwork at a young age that lead to a degree in commercial illustration. After college, I freelanced as a fantasy/sci-fi artist working with and combining mixed media such as; pen and ink, art markers, pencils, and colored pencils for many years and was published in a handful of fantasy play-by-mail magazines. My biggest freelance endeavor was illustrating 5 color cards for Atlas Game’s “On the Edge” card game. It wasn’t until I started with stained glass that I finally felt I had found my calling. Combining my skills of sketching fantasy ideas and the colors of stained glass opened up a whole new world of infinite possibilities for me. I love the challenge of mixing different non-traditional items and incorporating them into a unique art design that I have created. It has been most fulfilling and a great outlet for my endless imagination.
